In 2018, Dani B. lost her husband to Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 40, becoming a widow at 32. Amidst her grief, she sought comfort in writing poems and sharing her testimony on various platforms, including Atlanta Live. In 2019, she published her first poetry book, "Crown of Beauty-Purpose in my Pain," followed by her debut poetry album, "Healing in the Mix," in 2023. In 2020, she created a podcast series entitled "Crowned in Purpose with Dani B.," where she interviewed guests about their journey through grief and how God has used them through the pain and disappointment of losing a loved one.
ENTREPRENEUR
In 2023, Dani B. fully launched "Crowned Radio Station," a Digital Christian Radio Station playing 24 hours of Non-Stop Contemporary Gospel, Christian Hip Hop, Christian Soul, and more. She has interviewed Marvin Sapp, Erica Campbell, Mali Music, and a host of other leading Christian artists. Dani B.'s mission for the station is for the love of God to be shown through music across the world. As an owner and radio personality, she hosts "Beat the Block Saturdays," featuring Christian Hip Hop and exclusive interviews with today's leading CHH artists.
